Finnish Economy Is in Good Speed

15.06.2011

Sampo Banks economists forecast that Finnish economy will clearly grow faster than the EU area on average. The main exporting markets are active and investments have increased within Finland. Household expenditures are increasing as well although accelerating inflation prevents the increase of purchasing power.

According to the bank’s estimates Finland’s economy will grow 3,6 percent this year and 2,7 percent next year. Finnish economy has already been improving for two consecutive years and the first five months of 2011 resume the trend. January-March GDP was 5,5 percent higher when compared to 2010.
