Finland’s Largest Wind Power Farm To Pori

Tuuliwatti, a Finnish wind power company, is to construct a 54 megawatt wind power farm to the west coast town of Pori. The farm will be built by the end of summer 2015. The investment is valued to be some € 75 million and it will be a joint venture between St1 and S-Voima. A total of twelve 4.5 megawatt wind power plants will be built.

The Pori region is the central importance for Tuuliwatti. In 2010, the company began wind power production in the area with a three megawatt plant. The company is also constructing wind power in other parts of the western Finland region. (Source: www.yle.fi, 9.1.2013)
