Finnish Exports To Russia Are Increasing

02.09.2013

Finnish exports to Russia have increased by 4 % during 2013. Most of the growth has been received by Finnish healthcare products, groceries and consumer products. At the same time exports to Sweden and Germany have decreased 4 %.

The growth has been continuing for a few years now and if it keeps up, Finland’s exports to Russia could rise over 10% of all exports. This would be only a short way from late 1980’s export amount into the Soviet Union, when Finnish exports to its eastern neighbour lived their golden age. (Source: http://yle.fi, 17.8.2013)
