Microsoft Builds A Datacenter To Finland

Microsoft has announced that it will build a datacenter in Finland, which will serve its European customers. Microsoft is going to invest € 190 million to the new datacenter. According to Finland’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Jan Vapaavuori, the goverment has been discussing about the investment with Microsoft for some time. The new CEO of Nokia, Risto Siilasmaa, has stated that two places from northern Finland have been planned as the possible locations of the new facilities. (Source: www.yle.fi, 3.9.2013)
