Finnish industries’ value of orders has been growing this year. According to Statistics Finland the orders grew by 9.7 % between January and September 2014 and a whopping 54.8 % during September, when compared to 2013 figures. The growth during September has been greatest in the metal industry where the increase was 81.4 % more than in 2013. This was mainly due to a few big ship orders. The chemistry industry also recorded 15.7 % growth and paper and pulp industrie' value of orders rose by 2.9 % during September.
Technical trade products’ sales have also returned to growth track this year according to the Association of Finnish Technical Traders.
