Three LNG-terminals To Be Built In Finland

The Ministry of Employment and Economy has granted a support of EUR 65 million for building three LNG-terminals. Pori terminal will have a capacity of 30 000 m³, Rauma 10 000 m³ and Tornio 50 000 m³. The total value of these investments will be EUR 200 million and the construction of these terminals will start the LNG network that will be created along the Finnish coast.

LNG will be used in ships and industrial sector to replace the use of fuel oil and LPG. It will provide maritime and process industries with a more environmentally friendly and sulphur-free fuel. (Source: www.tekniikkatalous.fi, 18.9.2014)
