Finland On Top Of International Rankings

Finland is the 10th best place to do business in 2016 according to World Bank’s Doing Business 2016 report. The survey included 189 countries and measured the smoothness of business including founding a business, permits, getting credit, taxation issues, international trade and contracts. The top three was Singapore, New Zealand and Denmark.

Finland is the world’s third most dynamic economy sharing the 3rd place with Australia. The 2015 Global Dynamism Index (GDI) report titled “Going beyond borders: Where to grow your business” made by Grant Thornton, measured countries business operation environment, financing environment, labour market, IT and R&D spending, technology and market growth. Singapore and Israel took the lead before Finland. Sweden was on the 5th place and Norway on the 8th place.

Finland is the most innovative country in the world based on WEF’s Global Competitiveness Report 2014-2015. The study measured 12 factors of competitiveness. Finland also excelled especially in higher education and training,

Finland ranked fifth in English Proficiency Index out of 70 countries worldwide. The index was made by EF Education First and it tested 910 000 adult English language learners. The top four was Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway.

Finland is the ninth most prosperous country in the world according to Prosperity Index made by think tank The Legatum Institute. Measured factors were the economy‚ entrepreneurship, governance, education, health, safety/security, personal freedom and social capital. The Index included 142 countries and it was topped by Norway, Switzerland and Denmark.
