Finnish gaming industry has had a busy year in publishing new games. According to Finnish game industry association, Neogames, gaming companies have published altogether 95 new games, most of which are for mobile platforms. These new games include Boom Beach from Supercell, Angry Birds Epic, Stella and Transformers from Rovio, Best Fiends from Seriously, Grand Cru from Supernauts and Boomlagoon from Monsu.
According to Neogames, there are about 200 gaming companies in Finland. The industry’s turnover is EUR 900 million and it employs 2 200 people. (Source: www.tekniikkatalous.fi, 18.12.2014)
