Finnish Technology Industry Secures Large Orders

Finnish technology industry companies have secured large orders during autumn 2016:

Ship technology company Wärtsilä won €100 million worth of gas motor orders from USA. Wärtsilä has also secured smaller deals for its power plant solutions.

Industry automation and solutions company Valmet will deliver its first waste-to-energy plant to China. The plant will utilize 350 000 tons of waste fuels to produce electricity and heat. The company does not publish the value of the project.

Technology, automation and service group Metso has won a major order from the world’s largest copper producer Chilean Codelco. Metso will design and deliver equipment and materials for 12 underground crushing stations , including 20 feeders and 20 conveyors. (Source: Kauppalehti 26.9.2016)
