Factories Are Still Rising In Finland

Finnish industry invests in production in Finland and abroad. UPM is building new bio diesel plant in Lappeenranta. When the plant is ready, in summer 2014, it will produce 100 000 tons of biodiesel for traffic use.

Finnprotein is building soya factory in Uusikaupunki. Factory is planned to start running next year and it will employ 65-70 people.

Finnish industry has investments in other countries too: Stora Enso has a € 1,6 billion project in China. They will build pulp and paper factory in Beihan. Nokia will be ready next year with their € 200 million factory project in Vietnam. (Tekniikka&Talous 21.9.2012)
