Many of the trends highlighted in the 2017 edition will continue in 2018: investments to renewable energy production, energy efficiency, bioenergy and biofuels; construction of hospitals; marine industry with full order books, as well as rising demand of health food, organic and private label products.
Finnish economy is picking up the pace: industrial production is growing faster than expected and companies have announced good order numbers. Construction industry is also announcing positive developments as the number of apartment construction starts increased substantially in 2017. There are also interesting circle economy developments in many Finnish municipalities and companies.
